2023 Connecticut Foodshare Walk Against Hunger

The Foodshare Walk Against Hunger is the largest anti-hunger event of its kind in Connecticut, and one of the largest fundraisers for us at the Friendship Center! All of the funds that we raise will directly benefit our Tomasso Community Kitchen.

The Connecticut Food Bank and Foodshare have combined organizations and organized the statewide event as a cooperative effort with local partners to raise funds and awareness. This year, the Walk will take place in-person at Dunkin’ Donuts Park, home of the Hartford Yard Goats!

We are so grateful for the dedication and commitment our teams show to the Friendship Center and serving the needs of the hungry in the Greater New Britain area. It is a win-win for FSC/Foodshare and our community.
