Kassandra began her tenure in the fundraising industry during her undergraduate experience at Boston University. After graduating with a degree in Health Science, she worked for several large nonprofits focused on healthcare and medical research in Boston. She pursued further education in Development, taking graduate courses in Fundraising Management at Boston University's Metropolitan College in the evening while working full-time. After relocating to CT and transitioning into fundraising for homeless prevention services, she focused her passion and drive on bringing both theoretical and practical knowledge to the industry to facilitate a people-centric approach to building a culture of philanthropy. Additionally, she volunteers as a consultant for small nonprofits, helping them to build annual giving programs and running board boot camps. She believes in data-driven strategies, fostering an inclusive space for community engagement so everyone can have a voice, and leading through innovation and empathy.
