2023 Holiday Adopt-A-Family

On behalf of Friendship Service Center, Inc. we wanted to express our sincerest gratitude for your support in this year’s Adopt-a-Family event! With your help, we were able to ensure that all our clients and families received gifts this year! 

Thank you to New Britain EMS for helping us keep this holiday tradition alive by filling an ambulance with toys and gifts and surprising our families who are staying with us in the emergency shelter. 

Additionally, thanks to our wonderful Kitchen staff, our families were provided with a lovely Christmas dinner before being surprised by EMS! All of the kids and their families had a chance to get their gifts from Santa and snapped these super cute pictures with him as well.  We also wanted to send a huge thank you to Carl Bach for donating the Christmas tree! 

A special shoutout to the Friends of FSC and Vox Church for volunteering their time to help gift-wrap all of the gifts that came in and creating a little bit of extra holiday magic for our clients. With over 250 gifts from our donors, it is easy to say we couldn’t have been able to get everything wrapped without them!
