Many Ways to Make a Difference
Show us how you make love visible!
We offer several volunteer opportunities for those who want to give back to the community or need to complete community service hours for their school or organization! Groups are also welcome and encouraged to volunteer.
You can volunteer for a one-time project or come back every week - we’re happy to help create a schedule that works for you!
No need to worry about training! We’ll tell you everything you need to know!

Ways to Help
HOPE CONNECTION CENTER
Hope Connection Center (HCC) is a service entry point for individuals experiencing or at risk for homelessness. Volunteers at HCC get the opportunity to help manage our community closet which is available to all clients and completely volunteer-run.
See What’s Cookin’
Perhaps you would like to help by preparing or serving meals in our Tomasso Family Community Kitchen, particularly the noon meal Monday through Friday. Volunteer shifts are available during the week between 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Do you have experience in a facilities department? Are you mechanically inclined? If so, we could have a great opportunity for your volunteer spirit.
Hop On Board
If you have an interest in non-profit governance, FSC’s Board of Directors or Trustees is a great opportunity for you. Directors meet monthly and Trustees meet quarterly in the Mabel Yeterian Boardroom at our 85 Arch Street location.
Subcommittees meet monthly or quarterly based on the needs of Agency leadership. Email email@example.com for more information!
Be a "Friend"
The Friends of the Friendship Service Center meet monthly on the second Tuesday of each month. The auxiliary adopts thoughtful and creative projects that give an added and important dimension to Friendship Center life.
Join us for one of our events held during the year or consider hosting your own to help benefit FSC. Previous events have included bowl-a-thons, Casual Day at corporations, and mini-golf tournaments. We are always open to any creative idea members of the community may have for an event!
